Responsibilities: The Thread Roller Grinder sets up and runs the Cincinnati center less grinders and both (2) die and (3) die cylindrical thread rolling machines within a machine shop environment.
Requirements: • High school graduate or the equivalent.
• Trade school, apprenticeship or on the job training required.
• Minimum 2 years of machine shop experience required.
• Thread rolling and center less grinder experience.
• Must be detail oriented, organized and a team player.

CNC Machinist – Setup & Troubleshoot – Night Shift     Click here to fill out our application right now

Responsibilities: Programs new jobs, sets up a variety of CNC machines utilizing knowledge of machines, tooling, materials and programs. Troubleshoots and operates numerical control machines or machining centers to perform various functions, such as cutting, drilling, milling, reaming, boring, and broaching of metallic and nonmetallic work pieces, utilizing knowledge of machine tool capabilities, machinability of materials, and shop math. Is able to do all editing, offsetting and troubleshooting with no assistance from supervisor.
Experience: Between 4 and 6 years of trade school, vocational education, work experience, or apprenticeship. Familiar with Mori Seiki, Fadal, Haas and Bridgeport machines and Fanuc, Yasnac and Haas machine controls. Also able to use Gibbs and Mastercam programming systems.
Available: Available Immediately for Night/Swing Shift (2:30pm - 11:00pm).

Laborer, Deburr, General     Click here to fill out our application right now

Responsibilities: Performs any combination of following tasks to assist in machine shop activities:

Essential Job Functions:
• Works in deburr department to remove sharp edges, burrs and improve finishes as instructed.
• Removes metal chips and shavings from surfaces of machines, using rag or air hose, and wipes surfaces of machines with rag to remove excess oil.
• Cleans around work areas, using broom and shovel.
• Removes burrs or excess metal from machined parts, using files, sandpaper, emery cloth, or deburr machine.
• Communicates with co workers and supervisor to receive instructions and coordinate activities.
• Inspects and measures parts to maintain statistical process control charts.

Marginal/Less Essential Job Functions:
Helps within other machine shop areas as needed. This may include shipping & receiving, assembly, mechanical identification, saw, inspection and thread rolling if necessary.

Experience: Must have the ability to speak and write in English. Some machine shop training course work would be desirable.

Responsibilities: The incumbent performs the daily estimating activities for the thread rolling services offered at Superior Thread Rolling Co. Inc. The estimator works to broad policies and objectives that require considerable independent judgment and initiative.
